“ Made a reservation for 12 last min & Yay!! winning they were able to accommodate without hesitation. Was able to have dinner here on a karaoke night too. How Fun was that? dinner & free entertainment Parking was not an issue, located in a mini shopping plaza, plenty of spaces, even if you had to walk a little, you'll be fine. From the moment we walked in, the greeter was very friendly & helpful with any questions & our waitress was A1 she was always checking in on us, for refills, concerns, questions & also made sure we knew she was there for us, if needed. Food was Yummy, worth the money we paid & it wasn't pricy at all. Our appetizers did not disappoint & presentation with all the dishes were beautiful. If you don't mind the "older" crowd, then if you haven't been & are wondering about this place, Stop in & check it out yourself. They have something for everyone. ”
“ The food never disappoints. We have been coming here since Kam opened over 24 years ago. And he was there to greet us at the door. This was early on a Tuesday evening. We had two appetizers- the fried calamari, which was to die for, and the spicy buffalo cauliflower bites, that were quite tasty. For our entrees, we had the braised lamb shank with mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies, all delicious. Also had the linguine Santa Maria with chicken and prawns, a great dish with artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes. It was great to see all of the San Francisco giants memorabilia on the walls Thank you Kam ”
“ A little bit about me: the FOOD on a happy hour menu is just as important (arguably more important) than the drinks when I'm looking on how to spend my 3-10pm. Capers said, "heard you, little one." I really appreciated the diversity on that menu, the nights where HH is til close and the opportunity to have drinks that pair nicely with the food options. Bonus if you don't mind a bar friend, some really eclectic folks with funk stories to share are always around when I pop in. The staff were really lovely. I've only sat at the bar, but everyone I encountered were super helpful, honest and kind. They also knew a lot about the south bay, so I've learned a lot just hearing their stories. I am sadly not in this area, so I have not have to much on the menu, but the simple bites and sandwiches I have had I enjoyed. Sorry this isn't more than just happy hour, but for what I got I was good. ”
“ Been here a few times. We popped in for drinks one night and turned out to be karaoke night. It may be because we were under the influence, the karaoke was fun. I've tried the prime rib special and it was just how I ordered. I'll definitely go back for it again. Their onion strings are good. The lamb shank is also really good. It was tender and flavorful. The service is good and the place is clean. ”
“ Vegetarian Pasta is good, but I like the Veggie Stir Fry even better. Both are vegan as is. Service is friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is festive on a Saturday night. The crowd has a lot of fun during karaoke. ”
“ Came in for dinner on June 28, 2024 and there were two large groups there... Had no problem finding a place to sit at the bar. The staff was very busy, but as friendly as ever. Horacio, a bartender, was also our server. We thoroughly enjoyed an end, cut Of Prime Rib and the prawn skewers as well. I asked Horacio for a small piece of foil for the shrimp tails and showed him a video of a couple of opossums that come through the backyard nightly... He laughed and went onto explain that he has his girlfriend recently rescued a female opossum and her babies (mom got hit by a car). We look forward to our next visit. ”
“ Happy Hours post Covid aren't just the same! Yet some places like Capers still have a semi decent happy hour menu. For West SJ, just not a lot of options, but can't go wrong with some cheap eats here. Dont get me wrong, nothing too high end and dining area is too clustered. Yet for a quick inexpensive gathering with friends, this fits the bill! (Last place you'd go on date though .) ”
“ I came back again since it's been awhile. Still mostly same menu although they have had some new dishes. It was pretty loud and busy for a Saturday evening. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. Crab cake: 4.5 stars. Good amount of crab meat and not too much fillers. Sauce and veggies that came with it was pretty complimentary to the flavors - sweet and tart. Linguine Santa Maria: 4.5 stars. big enough for 2 I think and plenty of protein with shrimp and chicken. Love the spinach and artichokes. Short ribs: 4 stars. Good amount of carb and veggies. Tender short ribs. Can't complain. Surprised by the the lower stars but I've always had great food here. ”
“ I'm back from Wisconsin. Hey much love to the peeps down there. The most humble kind of welcome. This review is for a restaurant called Capers in Campbell. Yesterday night on a date with my fiancée. The outer exterior of the restaurant is nice they have patio seating which is good. As we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the manager and said you can seat anywhere you want. We told him we have reservation and would accept an early reservation. As we sat down and looking around the place nice bar and T.V I think 5 of them. Let's say this place is good and ready for any sports event televised on prime time. Again Thursday night didn't look that busy but later in the evening it stated to increase. Looks like the locals were coming out. Their happy hour is everyday was what originally brought us in. The cauliflower appetizer oh man yo died for. Make sure to order bread to dip in all the sauce. Don't waste! I ordered the grilled Atlantic salmon with spinach. Will make fire visit again ”
